    Ha! Just toss tour pins in its general directionTing! This magnetic tray snatches your tossed pins outta thin air so you can concentrate on sewing. It MAGICALLY positions the pins plastic heads outwards so you can grab them easily Heavy so I can rely that it ll be in the same place as I m constructing 5Good magnetic pin holder--does exactly what it's supposed to!I bought this for my sewing room, wanting something I could quickly toss pins onto while doing a lot of piecing for quilts. I've been wasting a whole lot of time putting pins back into a pincushion during the piecing process. This little item has made that problem a thing of the past. Not complex, not fancy, just a pretty color and a good product.5Love the Zirkel!This is my second Zirkel, what a fantastic product. They are colorful, powerful, and when the pins are placed point down the head of the pin hangs over the edge. It makes your pins very easy to grab. I keep one next to my machine and as I remove pins I place them on the Zirkel, no pins on the floor and it does not slow down my sewing.5Doesn't hold the pins securely.I ordered this because the hype had me intrigued. I was so excited. I dropped all of my pins on it and proceeded to start my pinning. Yes, it makes the pins easier to grab than a traditional magnetic pin cushion, but that is all. When you are not using it, or it is just sitting beside your machine, the pins get knocked around and fall off. I found myself picking up pins from the floor alot while I was sewing because they don't hold very well. I guess if you move it from your sewing table then it is fine, but kind of defeats the purpose. I will stick with my basic stuffed pin cushion.3It spreads the pins out rather well, but you have a 50/50 shot of getting the heads to the outsideI like that I now have a rather decent magnetic pin holder. HOWEVER, only ~50% of the pins land with the heads to the outside. I tried dropping the pins with the points down and received the same results. The first one I ordered is in the ether somewhere, as it never arrived. I had to reorder another one and that arrived in ~2 days with Prime. Overall, it is a pricey notion. If you are using it to make ornaments (~200 pins per ornament) it it is worth it. If you are using it for regular sewing, it probably isn't.4A must have for your sewing table!This is my second one so I could have one next to my sewing machine and one over on my craft table. Holds a ton of pins, super magnetic and if you drop the pins point down, they will arrange themselves with the heads out. It s pretty heavy so it s not gonna slide around on your table.5Dirty versus used???Think I probably received a used one, came with black smeared on it. If it wasn't so dirty it would probably work but don't want something like this near my fabrics. Will see what I can use to get that black off.2Like a pincushion, but for lazy people who love magnets!Perfect for getting at your pins nice and easy like, instead of a jumbled pile of pins, they space out evenly and are easy to pluck off the edge. The only negative thing about the product is when the organizer is filled with pins, it is very hard to pick up and move because the pin heads hang over the edge. It would be nice to have a base underneath with short handles.4Strong magnet, great pin storage This pin magnet is really awesome! It stays in place on the metal bed of my sewing machine and as long as I toss the pins in it s general direction, the magnet grabs them. No more lost pins or stepping on them because they roll off my sewing table. The magnet is very strong and it works better than I could have imagined!5
