    Completely dried up- waste ofHorrible. Save your money. The marker was completely dried out. Even after priming it and shaking it , it would not write. I attempted to return it and sadly this item has a no return policy- very convenient for the company.I went ahead and took it apart since I amStuck with it and the chalk paste was completely dried up inside . Save you 4$ and get a different brand 1DRIED OUT upon receiptThis marker was dried out when I received it. Followed the directions and tried to use it for 10 minutes before I gave up. Not a single drop of anything came out of this dud. AND I couldn't even return it a few days after receiving it. Lucky it was only a few bucks but still - not happy. 1I Thought it Was Dried Out, But Just Needed to Prime It...Takes FOREVER for the ink to come down into the pen tip, but be patient. It helps to press the tip in a bit (it's designed for this). Once you get the ink flowing through to the end, it works great and has a fairly narrow tip and leaves behind a nice solid white paint. Haven't tried erasing it yet, but I use a Magic Eraser and it pretty much takes off even stubborn erasable inks, so I don't foresee a problem. Overall a great purchase and by a trusted brand. 4Unusable.This chalk marker is completely unusable. It wouldn't write unless I pressed down on it, but when I did, even just for a second, the chalk liquid would pour out of it. I thought it was just at first, but it was not. Very cheap and frustrating. 1Writes well, stays well, but hard to get offThis writes well but is reeeeally difficult to get off of little chalkboards (used for a wedding shower). I tried water, rubbing alcohol and soap and ended up using a magic eraser. Be warned that you can still see a faint outline of the writing when you move the little chalkboard around in light. Also, don't use on wooden pieces with chalkboard paint: since the only way to get the marker off is to use magic eraser, it takes the chalk paint off of the wood too. I had to learn that the hard way =(. 3Great markerGreat marker! This came packaged very securely in plastic on cardboard backing. Opening that, it's wrapped still again in plastic.To address what other viewers have commented on about pen arriving empty... If you are not used to paint-type markers, you may think this arrives empty or out of ink. Like a paint marker, you must prime it by depressing the tip against some scratch paper until liquid chalk comes out, then it's good to go. This is not a defect, but merely how this kind of marker works. If you go awhile without using it, you may have to prime it again. This is not a defect either. Additionally, stirring the marker flat, as the package indicates will keep it from leaking all over. Don't just put it in your pencil cup.I wish the color was orange-ier and I did take off a pint for that. It's a boring orange. Light orange, but florescent. I was hoping for more of a pumpkin orange. Otherwise, this market functions perfectly. It does take awhile to dry, so be careful until then. 4Great product!I LOVE THIS! I used this to write on my chalkboard for maternity photos. I love that it is erasable and gave me the precision I wanted to make the chalkboard lettering just how I wanted! 5WRITES BEAUTIFULLYI bought this liquid chalk marker to write on chalk labels that came with spray bottles I purchased. They worked absolutely perfect. The liquid chalk comes out a nice a bold white color. The only issue was, you have to shake it and push on the tip alot more than it says too, to get it to start writing. This is usually what you have to do with all marker like this. Some people might think it's dried out or doesn't work. Once I got it to write, it didn't leak or come out to fast. I loved it. Would purchase again for sure. I want to purchase the chisel tip one as well. 55 stars and a tipTo all the people upset about it not erasing on chalk boards, this is the same for all chalk markers. It is not the products fault, especially because the package says it is only for use on nonporous surfaces.I have a tip though. You can get a sealer for your chalkboard to use these (and all chalk markers) on them. Check out a clear acrylic sealer spray on Amazon.These are great markers no nonporous surfaces. 5Perfect For What I Needed it ForWorked perfectly with the mini chalkboards I bought. I keep reading that others can't get it to work and I can't stress enough the instructions are right on. For me, I kept shaking and testing the pen until ink finally flowed. Then once it starts flowing for the first time, make sure you use that as a test before you work on the project at hand because the first few lines will come out weaker than the next and the next. So write a test sentence until the ink starts flowing darker.For storage it tells us to keep it horizontal so that's what I'm doing so it works well in the future too. 5
