Disappointed. Not the quality product I have come to expect from Marvy Uchida. Caps are either a chore to remove or fall off on their own. Ink is NOT as highly pigmented as in previous years. Overall, a disappointment. I had to order ALL of the sets, excluding the Primary (which is included in the 24 marker set) to get all of the colors and ended up with 25 duplicated colors. To make matters worse, some of the markers are missing their fine tips completely. Shame on you, Marvy! Where IS your quality control???1Waste of Money - Stay clearComplete waste of money, time, and total garbage. This doesn't even qualify as something good for a beginner, much less anyone else. Barely visible, non blendable, makes you think they're dried out right out of the box. This is not yesterdays Le Plume, this is a junk successor and you should save your money.1Bad packaging!!!!This is my third set of 36 markers . I was buying what ever color set was available at Michaels. ( Yes, I rated them at 4 because they are good markers.) I didn't know they made so many colors. This time however, I expanded my collection to purchasing 6 packages of markers. That's 72 markers and of those 6 packages 12 were duplicates. That's an entire package of 12 markers. What a waste of $20.00. I called the Marvy Company to see if they would exchange them for different colors. They were less then nice about it.They could care less. There are 108 colors and I wanted all of them. But I'll find another company to do business with. thanks for showing your true colors.4Unique fine tip, vivid colors, easy to useWonderful beginner set with dual tips, one end being excellent for fine lines, the other end great for faster coverage. The colors are beautiful and there is a gray included, which many beginning sets do not have. I am glad I gave this brand a try. The dark blue is a stunning deep sapphire, which I am using instead of black for more vivid color which doesn't get so lost in the background.I would purchase again.5Disappointed.Not the quality product I have come to expect from Marvy Uchida. These are great markers. I like that there are two tips-a coloring one, and a printing one. Biggest complaint is that they are overpriced.
5Brush Markers, Not Double-Ended Markers.Be careful when ordering these markers. Even though the picture is of double-ended markers, I received the Brush Marker set (which obviously does not have the fine nib on one end).1Dang it.
I was expecting pastel colors. That was what i needed. Most of these were NOT pastel colors.
3Super for stamping AND coloringLove these double-ended marker. I use them for stamping (use brush end to color entire stamp or fine point to color just part of a stamp), and they work great!I also use these markers to color in coloring books for adults (images with very small pieces to color, as well as some larger areas). They are phenomenal at controlling where the ink goes when working in tight spaces, and I love the "brush" feel of the large end, which allows you to color at an angle, where you can cover maximum page space as you brush the color of the marker over a large surface. Yet, if you need a medium-point tip, you can use the end of the brush marker, and you get that, too.In comparing various dual-tipped markers made by various companies, I found these to be just as good as some of the much more pricey markers. I've also had good experience with these markers lasting a LONG time, which is great as I hate it when markers dry out right away! Hope you enjoy 'em!5Misleading product descriptionThis is less a review of the product, and more about the inaccuracy in the description of the product. Beware that it contains colors that are not included in the manufacturer's description of the set 1122-24, and does not include some of the colors that the manufacturer says it does include. While Amazon labels it as "Assorted" and does not specify which colors it contains in the set, it differs significantly from the set 1122-24 that Uchida lists on it's website. If you are trying to avoid purchasing duplicate colors, good luck! The set that I ordered had only half of the colors that I was expecting. I am disappointed with my purchase.4not the bestbarely used these and after years without usage they dry out quickly. i suspect the caps are not as air tight as they should be. caps should be redesigned. especially for the ultra fine tip side.3Favorite Markers for 2 Years!I ve ordered these markers for myself(a couple years ago), and again for a friend who is getting a new bullet journal.I LOVE how these markers rarely bleed through my paper to the other side. Plus, they seriously last forever! I have had mine for at least 2 years, and I use them pretty frequently(at least the mints and pinks), and I haven t had one market run out.I really recommend these markers if you love to journal!5
