Customer Reviews

Awesome!Item as described!! Thanks!5I like the feel of these sticksI like the feel of these sticks. They are a classic 5A with a little bit extra reach. This means a little more weight and extra leverage. I prefer these over 5Bs as the 5Bs can be a little too heavy and thick. I find 5As to be a little light, while these feel just right. I have had one break quickly the first time I've played it. I can't say I was happy about that, however another pair I've played have lasted much longer. Because of the stick breaking, I've rated these sticks 4 out of 5 stars.4just a little longeras described5Vic Firth's are great though. I'm impressed at how they hold upDefinitely longer, I know I know thats what they are all about. Threw me off enough to fatigue forearm a little bit.Had to choke up so what's the use. Oh well, just not for me. Vic Firth's are great though. I'm impressed at how they hold up. They feel very light in your hand and get pretty nagged up but haven't broke one yet.4Great stick! The description says "for the 5A player who wants a bit more power and reach". This is absolutely the best way to describe it. I always tend to use heavier sticks because I like getting that extra half-inch reach. But in practice settings, 5Bs or "rock" sticks are just a bit too much for me. Plus I've always preferred the lighter sticks. Granted, stick size is all about personal preference. So as far as quality goes, these things hold up! The sticks are well matched, nice quality, and resistant to breaking. I have yet to break one of these sticks lengthwise (I always wear out the tips and taper before the stick ever breaks). I will continue to use these sticks for a long time to come! Highly recommend.5Awesome sticks, longer reach, more weightI've own these for a while (6 months) and I'm still beating them up. Swing, Bebop, straight jazz..I only had to sand them when I let this guy play on them.. *I sand sticks for the feel.. basically I don't want splinters everytime I switch grips or have to do snare knocks.. :)Great sticks man, gave me that extra weight and length I needed.5The BestThe best brand and the best, most versitile size. Full Stop5Just try them alreadyGreat drumsticks and has that little extra reach. The balance is very good and i expect them to have a pretty decent life span.5Great, versatile stick. My cousin and I both settled on this stick, him coming from an 8D and me from a 2B, then Buddy Rich Signature, then 808/808L. Really a great, versatile stick. Fast and well-balanced enough for fast single stroke rolls around the kit, heavy and long enough to keep good time without having to be super deliberate. Tip shape sounds good on toms and cymbals, and doesn't go dead.5Great sticksThey actually taught me how to play drums. They are magic. Buy all you can but go to a music store and try them first. You can't find your stick by gazing at it online or because so and so plays them. These were the first non Pro-Mark stick I've used and I'll buy more.5
