    Way too sticky I bought this transfer tape for my vinyl crafting because I had heard great things about it. I was so excited when it was delivered because I wanted to try it out. It ruined my first project, so I thought maybe it was just the starting piece of the roll. I re-cut my project and tried it again. This stuff is so sticky that once you stick it to your vinyl, it won't release from it. I spent the money on this transfer tape and then to top it off I ruined a lot of vinyl trying to use it. I would not buy this product again, in fact, I returned this product to get my money back. I don't know if I had a bad roll or if it is always this sticky, but I wasn't able to use it for anything. 1However this seemed like such a great deal I usually research products and read reviews before making purchases... However this seemed like such a great deal, and I needed it quickly, so I didn't investigate as much as I should have... Now I wish I had. This transfer tape does not come with a backing, so it is extremely difficult to even pull off of the roll without wrinkling and it sticking to itself. Also, this is FAR too sticky for my needs. Wanted to use it with my Cricut machine, when transferring vinyl to plastic & glass products, as well as windows for car decals. I'm sure this extreme amount of stickiness would work well with some kind of larger, professional project. However, I still have doubts as even getting it off of the roll was such a pain staking process. I do NOT recommend for small, DIY projects. 2Will not be buying again You get a lot of bang for your buck, but the tape sticks to the vinyl and does not release. I tried with multiple types of vinyl and it ruined all of my projects. This product is also fairly thick 2sincerely the worst purchase I have made on Amazon sincerely the worst purchase I have made on Amazon. This WILL NOT transfer your vinyl. It will destroy your project. The only thing you might could use it for is removing dog hair off your clothing. Other than that, don't purchase it for transferring vinyl. It will not release the vinyl no matter how hard or how long you rub. The sticky residue sticks to your vinyl if you do manage to pull of any vinyl that will come off stretched and skewed. Don't waste your money on this one!! 1if you are using this for Oracal- don't. This ... if you are using this for Oracal- don't. This is high tack. It will never let your vinyl go, well at least not without a fight. If you want some high tack application tape, this is your stuff. If you find a use for high tack, send me a line so I can pick up whatever craft that is so I can use the remainder of this roll. Otherwise I think it will continue to grow dust. 2Waaaaayyyyy To Sticky OK so for transferring vinyl to window it works ok, try it on something the vinyl may not adhere to as strongly (like a painted wall in a house) and this transfer tap WILL NOT WORK. It's probably the worst transfer tape I've ever used and nearly ruined a project of mine. The adhesive it uses sticks too strongly to the vinyl to separate easily. 1The "too sticky" reviews are true!! Don't do it! I use Oracal 651, which is intermediate cal outdoor vinyl, so it's very resistant to transfer tape. However, this transfer tape is horrible. I couldn't imagine what kind of vinyl it could be used for. It's so tacky that it actually stretches the vinyl while trying to remove it from a properly prepped window. Obviously, glass it best case scenario for any vinyl/tape so I figured this transfer tape would do fine. I was wrong and I will be returning it. 2HEAVY Transfer tape! This is a good HEAVY transfer tape - much too heavy for small, delicate projects such as using a cricut/silhoutte for small craft projects. Husband works in sign business and told me when he first saw this that it was too heavy for my projects - does not release vinyl easily. Much better suited for larger projects using heavier vinyl. I use Oracal 631. 3Dont waste your money Tried using it on vinyl sticker transfer and the sticky part stuck to my vinyl. It tore everything up and made me lose orders. Smells terrible and doesn't transfer like it should. 1VINYL SUPER TACKY TRANSFER TAPER This transfer tape is very very tacky. If you are working with small lettering it may be hard to transfer with it. I have tried it with he sisser easy weed vinyl as well as the oracel. I was using semi permanent vinyl to place letters on a wall but it took some time prying and trying to get the letters off once i got them on the transfer tape. I have read in other reviews that it is possible to rub it across your pants to make it a little less tacky. I will be trying this as well. But if you need a super tacky transfer tape this would be perfect. There is alot on the roll and I do not expect to have to be purchasing anymore anytime soon. 3
