    Beyond Beautiful - Love It - Best Ever - DVD is PowerfulThis is my first post ever but I fellt compelled to let people know how wonderful this is to me. I bought this for 3 friends and one loved it so much she has listened to the first song for a week, all of them love it. This is the best album I own and I have a lot of them. The DVD is powerful. You can see the joy rise up in people. At times it's like you can see the moment the Holy Spirit rises up and touches them. Beautiful mountain location. If you want to lose yourself in worship to the Lord Jesus then this album is a great way to set the atmosphere. May God bless you and all that you love.5Blessing, but Over-producedFirst off, let me say that God is doing so much work through Bethel Church. I'll only focus on what I don't like about this album, because I think God's blessing speaks for itself.Now, about the album:It is over-produced. I've come to enjoy a rawer, more live sound from my worship music, since I feel a huge part of the ministry through worship is the sound of the people and the way the praise resounds in the room, or in this case, the mountain air. This is more a pristine studio recording than it is a recording of a live album; from what I know, quite a bit of touch up was done in the studio. I appreciate the work done and the heart behind it, but sometimes it sounds overdone and takes away from the space. Also, I'm sad that Bethel participates in the loudness war. This is a piece of art with bright shades and dark shadows, but the contrast has been taken away from it. It's hard for me to run through the whole album without feeling fatigued from the constant volume. Loud should be loud and quiet should be quiet. Loud turns into suppressed and quiet turns into annoying when the final mix is squashed.All the songs sound the same. Guitars, keyboard, synth, everything else, I feel like it was all run through a Big Sky with a cloud machine with a decay of +20s. The catchy songs that have captivated the Church are all packed into the beginning of the album and the rest of the album I'm waiting for it to repeat. This is how I feel at the moment, but I'm sure the more I listen to it, the more God will open up my heart to the words he wants to tell me through the latter songs. :)I doubt any of the brothers and sisters involved with Bethel Music, including Bobby Strand, a huge blessing and encouragement, will ever come across this. I do write this with quite a harsh tone, but it's only because this is how passionate I am about music, and I feel hindered from enjoying the full spectrum of flavors of the fruit of the spirit in these songs.3all part of this wonderful live recordingThe songs, the setting, the presence of the Holy Spirit; all part of this wonderful live recording. May Bethel Music Ministries continue to be blessed!5Excellent worship CD, DVD is just as movingI pre-ordered this CD after hearing and seeing the "In Over My Head" song performed on a YouTube link from Facebook. The song and the performance spoke to me and moved my spirit. I was lifted by seeing and hearing such talented musicians and singers give their gifts (talents) back to the Lord through praise. Now that I have received the CD and DVD almost all of the songs give me a similar feeling. These people do not seem to be performing for an audience, camera, or recording, they seem to be simply and beautifully worshiping their Savior and Lord. While watching and listening to this music, I felt the same way....... So glad I made the purchase. - George Kelly - Merrillville, IN5Bethel Music does it Again!I'm not one to get on a bandwagon for a particular artist but I've really enjoyed the last several Bethel Music albums. As I write this, I'm listening to it. So often, I'll buy a CD and only enjoy one or two songs on it, this album isn't that way. I started really enjoying "Ever Be" and "No Longer Slaves." Both songs are great songs; "Ever Be" is a sweet song simply saying "Your praise will ever be on my lips," where "No Longer Slaves" is a declaration of freedom from bondage. "You Don't Miss a Thing" is a tender song that speaks to the fact that even with millions upon millions of people, God knows ME and sees ME and loves ME! "Who Can Compare to You" is another song I've recently started to listen to that I've also enjoyed. The chorus sings out "who can compare to you, who moves my heart the way You do?" swelling to the bridge with "kingdoms come, kingdoms fade, but always, You remain." My latest song I've been stuck on is "In Over My Head." I love the way in which the song seems to say some of the same things we've said or sang before, but in a new way. It's a song of trust and letting go to God and finding the freedom in all of that!BOTTOM LINE: Buy the album. It's a great mixture of songs that hit so many great high points. My daughter loves listening to worship music and watching their videos. We constantly listen to this cd as we are driving in the car and it is my husband's favorite album, aside from listening to For Today. I love leaving this cd on play over my phone at night while I sleep or listening to it through headphones while I set up the restaurant for opening.
