As always when I listened to the CD I couldn't stop I played it for days on in, everytime I was in the car. There are 14 songs and I have at least 6 favorites. Of course JESUS remains no.1. This CD was everything and more than I expected from KEM...Patti LaBelle and Ron Isley are great as well. I think I'm leaving someone out but I don't have the CD in front of me...it's in the car...yes even after Christmas I'm playing Christmas songs...lol5What Christmas MeansOh Wow! This is the ultimate Christmas song catalog for eternity. Unique in every way imaginable! This man has done what no other artist has ever done before him.He's taken standards and done them so incredibly well.You forget about that someone else had originated that song,because he made it so unusually profound.Then he created his own songs for the season that are just in a word BEAUTIFUL & UNIQUE! Another artist to buy CDs' on name recognition alone5Lov it!At first, I was hesitant about purchasing yet another Christmas CD. I have been waiting for Kem to come out with something. When I previewed it on Amazon, I felt that I had to have it. Although it is a Christmas CD, it is one that you will want to listen to at anytine. Kem's voices is intoxicating. Best album I've purchased in a long time, and I buy music! You won't go wrong with this one. I am still waiting on another Kem CD.5A Nice Smooth Mix.Soul singer KEM brings his smooth voice to some traditional chestnuts for great effect, but this set also contains plenty of solid original material. With a focus on the romantic and spiritual sides of Christmas, Be Mine for Christmas samples some of the horn riffs from the 70 s classic Me and Mrs. Jones , while We Three Kings features a powerful vocal arrangement that is rather heavily syncopated yet still light and jazzy-- and a nice lead in the a cappella Doo Wop Christmas . A good mix for a soft evening.4KEM CDEven though it's after the Christmas holiday I still play this CD. I received it in January. Love Kem's soft voice. I plan to order other Kem CD's.5
