This bag contains 8 balls of wool, each weighing roughly .22oz give or take, which adds to about 1.76oz of wool, but in bag it weighs 2.32oz. Seems like it's a solid product! This wool glided through the knitting needles like dragon fly skimming across the pond. The colors are so uplifting; I was singing as I knitted. My project turned out to be a blaze of glory. I now own a sweater for myself, a matching one for Bitsy, my little female cockapoo, and my kitten, Little Miss Mittens. No more coldness for us in this long long winter. With felting it all is a matter of project you're working on. I like Wistyria for certain projects as it's a bit more wirey than some other wool I buy. I wish individual colors were available and not packaged as a set. I didn't give it 5 stars because the amount of roving is very small. One color is enough to make a small bird.4Nice little packets for when you want small bits of many colorsMy friend is mad at me for buying roving (since I have plenty and she has scads), but I didn't want to deal with the large hanks we have for a kids' party. These skeins are grouped in pretty colors without the kind of overlap that makes buying kits a pain, and are just the right amount (I got three packets in different colorways) for a felting activity for a small party. No portioning, etc., required. So worth the money to have someone do all of that for me!! And this way the kids get more colors than I'd be willing to bother with. These packets would be good for any finite, small project, the colors are well depicted on the screen, and the packets are very neatly arranged in zipper bags.5Got this to do felting easter eggs with my sonHad a lot of fun wet felting this into easter eggs with my son. I am very pleased with the product. The wool is absolutely beautiful, soft and easy to work with. When I first opened the package, the balls seemed small to me but they are rolled tightly and there is more wool there than you think -- I'm making small animals and I'm sure there will be enough for at least a dozen projects, maybe more depending on the size. I will definitely order more of this wool.5
