Code worked and I now have my free 90 set up and leveling!I was lucky enough to purchase this on here for $30 just a week or so ago (mid-end of May 2015). Now it is $54 which is more than paying for it through Blizzards actual website. The code worked which is great because in the past we've had problems with codes bought online and not directly through the game itself. I know there has been a lot of controversy over the fact that game has changed so much, but now that we have the ability to buy game tokens in the game with gold, it makes it worth having the expansion in my opinion... even with the changes. So, if you can get it for $30 and buy some game tokens for gold instead of "real" money... then you can save enough money to pay for this game in 2 months time! Some of the changes in the game could have been done better, but I think they are doing a pretty good job of trying to appeal to a lot of different people. I often times go back to old content... and just an FYI for people that haven't been playing since the beginning, there are only 2 purchases needed to get involved in the game. If you buy the original game it includes all expansions through Mists of Pandaria (the one just before Warlords of Draenor)... so you just need the original game and then this expansion to have the current content! Don't get suckered into buying the old expansions because you don't need them!With this expansion, you get a free level 90. So, even if you have never played before, you can still have a character that can start in the new content. The gear isn't the best when starting out, but it's not so bad that you can't play the game.If you have several games on the same email account and end up buying the collector's edition, you will be able to use the mount and pet on all of the accounts attached to that account. So, if you plan on getting the collector's edition for multiple games on the same account... you just need one now that all of the mounts and pets are shared across all games on the same account. I hope to see some of you in the game!5Groovy gameI previously bought and downloaded this game from the blizzard website BUT I like to have stuff like this on CD / DVD as backup.The game itself is groovy overall.For some reason or other I couldnt get this game to install on my computer when I had to reinstall it because of hard drive issues.Im currently usin windows 10 which I despise.4and that's pretty hard to beatWarcraft has a very high standard to meet. I'm rating it compared to other games. Compared to other games... it's Warcraft, and that's pretty hard to beat.Internally, this xpack is a disappointment. Content thin, doesn't fix the things that Mists broke, and the garrisons are very insular, discouraging interaction with other players. It does at least make the leveling of crafting relatively painless, if you're okay with it taking a while, and you can make a lot of useful stuff right from the start now. Of course, I hate crafting. It's traditionally boring, and takes an insane amount of grinding, for a limited payoff if and only if you max it out. So people who like traditional crafting are not very happy.The raid encounters are good, but overused, with LFR, normals, heroics and Mythic all having mostly the same mechanics, progression feels like doing the same fight over and over again with bigger numbers.On the PvP side, class balance is acceptable, but Ashran was a complete and utter failure, and no new BG's were added. You can always arena or RBG, but other than numbers and a few mechanics, nothing changed, and there was no expansion.WoD is kind of a wash. Just Blizzard getting their money. Might as well get it if you like the game, but it's more like a patch than an xpack.4Useless in 8.0! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!This is now useless! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!Warlords of Draenor has been merged into the base game with the 8.0 pre-patch. Unused Legion keys can no longer be claimed and no longer grant a character level boost. If you have an unused WoD key contact your point of sale for a refund or exchange.Customer Support will not grant level boosts.1Eh.Product is fine. Expansion was not worth it.3it was still fun to playWhile Blizzard did not deliver on the story-rich expansion they promised, it was still fun to play. Also, if you want to play wow you have to get it either way.5Exciting Content at First; Stagnant Near End of ExpansionI started playing WoW since around late 2006, right before Burning Crusade came out. I took a few years off skipping Cataclysm and most of Mists of Pandaria. I bought Warlords of Draenor because I thought I could get back into WoW again and it would be fun. First off, my experience might be a little difference since I didn't play two expansions, but I generally enjoy Warlords of Draenor. I haven't raided since around 2010, and I am not currently raiding, so my end-game content is non-existent. However, the LFR options in the Group Finder tool are very useful to get some high level (735) legendary rings! As a casual player, I enjoy Warlords of Draenor's content, however it can get a little tedious; this is true for the end days of ALL WoW expansions. Most of the end days are full of grinding, pvp-ing, and farming mounts or pets, what have you. I've been able to solo older raids to get some mounts and it's relatively easy now at level 100. I also am impressed by some of the talent tree changes (I am aware that this was implemented in an earlier expansion) and the ability to level up toons relatively fast with bind-on-account items. My husband and I are having a great time leveling up some alts with these experience boosters. I'm excited to see what Legion has to offer come September.4Great Gift for the Gamer in your life!This is a must have for any World of Warcraft player. I bought this as a gift and it was a huge hit! They loved it! If you play World of Warcraft or you have a friend or loved one that plays, you can't go wrong with getting this upgrade.5Bye Bye Timeless!A worthwhile expansion for World of Warcraft, it is REQUIRED to have to proceed to the upcoming Legion expansion!!! Firstly, this game requires a full account of World of Warcraft to play: World of Warcraft - PC/Mac and will always require an internet connection to play! It is online multiplayer and that is why in my honest opinion it is the best MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role playing game).This expansion will run on older machines well enough to play, WoW has never been demanding of high-end high-speed computers to play. I can even play on my i5 laptop with 4gb of ram with no problems. So unless you are running an Athlon or Pentium from 1996 you are safe to play.With Warlords of Draenor (WoD) it puts the level cap of any character up to 100. Also this expansion initially brought garrisons into play, which are basically your own outpost that you build and supply and in turn it starts to supply you back with different things. I don't like garrisons but that's just me, they are boring and I'd rather be rolling and leveling a new RP toon (cartoon, or role play character for those that aren't aware). I don't have time to play nearly as much as I would like as the end-game is where this game truly shines. There is plenty to do in World of Warcraft and it constantly evolves with every patch and expansion. You will NEVER, I repeat, never be able to finish all the content in this game. There is so much to do and get lost in that you would have to play for lifetimes. Quests are all "run-of-the-tauren-mill" after a while but the multiplayer aspect brings the fun. PvP or PvE (player vs player, player vs environment respectively), there is always loads to do.I have my fingers crossed that Legion (the upcoming expansion) will bring a metric ton of fun to add and build onto Warlord of Draenor!You can pre-order here on amazon.
