Customer Reviews

Hands down best budget brandIve heard accounts of inconsistancys when it comes to the durability of Wuhan Chinas, but I've been wailing on this thing for a few weeks now and its fully capabile of my beatings. Wuhan creates a really trashy, nasty sounding china. This is a good thing for me (I play Metalcore, Deathcore, Death-metal, ect) and i wouldnt have it any other way. For $30 i will definatly buy again if it breaks. Go ahead and shell out the cash for a big 4 brand if you like, but just know that Wuhan will always have a great china with a great neck-breaking tone.5Nothing ComparesBeen using wihan Chinas for many years. I ve had almost every size. Its true they don t have the durability that more expensive brands have, but it s worth it bc they sound better than anything else on the market. The only two pieces of my kit that are non-negotiable are the Wuhan China and the Iron Cobra double kick pedal.5WOW!This cymbol is nice! I highly recommend wuhan china cymbols. The 14 inch sounds nice. I had more expensive china's and this blows them away. When i heard about these cymbols i thought they would be crap for how low the cost was and how they were poorly made. Yes, they are poorly made and they can crack more easily than the more popular expensives ones, but for the low price and the sound it gives off i think i'm sticking with these china's. I had a Zildjian A custom 18 inch china and a zildjian 18inch china trash and i have to say i like the sound a hundred time better with the wuhan china's then the zildjians. I do however just bought a 16inch paste china and that sounds nice as well, but the 14 inch wuhan china i have sounds just as good and its a heck of a lot cheaper. If used and hit properly i think these cymbols will last. For the most part if u want a great sounding china i highly recommend u looking into a wuhan. I just bought a 18 inch wuhan. I'm excited to hear that. I will deff write my thoughts on that too, but for how good the 14 inch sounds i don't think i will find a problem.5Buy this cymbal. You won't regret it.Probably the best sounding china I've ever heard. Very trashy sound to it as expected, I hit pretty hard and it holds up just fine! Might even throw a splash cymbal in there and turn it into a nice stack piece for some accents. Very awesome cymbal and its dirt cheap.5Sounds very crispIt sounds more like a smaller sized china, the sound does not sustain like the 16" but its still extremely distinct and good chops but not the best to ride on in a regular setting - but its open to your imagination obviously.3Great for the moneyFor the price, you can't beat the Wuhan chinas. I eventually break them, but I also break my Zildjian A Customs and they are 4x the money. I have the 16" and 18" Wuhan China and will continue to buy... until I get a Zildjian or Sabian sponsorship!5i <3 wuhan chinasto start: I love wuhan chinas. I would NEVER buy the "s" series or whatever. but I love the chinas. had a 12" that I traded ti some fool for a sabian 18" crash ride, and then to replace my china bought the 14". the 14" is MUCH deeper and has a sound I LOVE. the 12" was kinda high. but I gotta say for both wuhans I owned, that when practicing with my band, amps get turned to 10, and I jam my sticks into my skins (not literally) and the wuhan ALWAYS cuts through the mix. makes me so happy to hear it.4Bargain price, quality sound.Pretty cool cymbal. nice and quick. Doesnt ring out forever and I'm happy with it. I should have went with a 16" for a bigger sound but that all comes down to personal preference. I would recommend it for sure. Specially for the price its great. Cheers!5WUHAN MAKES EXCELLENT CYMBALSI'm a big fan of Wuhan cymbals. I own a recording studio and have over a dozen premium Zildjian cymbals as well as cymbals by Sabian and Paiste. Sonically the Wuhan's hold up against all comers, none of the drummers who've recorded here could tell what was being used from listening to recordings. My drum set is an eight piece DW kit that is purpose-built for recording. My drums and cymbals never leave the studio, we invested heavily in the drum kit to attract music groups that don't want to spend the time preparing their drum kit to record properly. My kit is tuned in major thirds and everyone that plays on it is very impressed with the versatile nature of the pieces I've chosen. The Wuhan China type cymbals are one of the biggest bargains in the line. These sound trashy and loud in person, when recorded they make a fantastic splash of color that is distinctive and punctuates nicely. I have this 14" stacked with a Wuhan 18" China, I like the extra voice of having two of these stacked.Wuhan cymbals are very old school cymbals, made from 80/20 bronze alloy, lathed and finished by hand in China. I tried Sabian and Zildjian China type cymbals but returned them and kept the Wuhans which were 1/4 the price of the others and sounded as good or better. If I had to say something about the tone of a Wuhan cymbal, I'd say it leans more towards a gong timbre than the other big brands. This gong sound works really well and is a good compliment to the thinner and brighter sound of my main kit of Zildjian, Sabian and Paiste cymbals.Happy drumming to all!5Clunk more than a cymbal...I may drill holes to pull some weight off...awful sound.1
