Customer Reviews

I've found these green dip 5B sticks are my favorite for my electronic drumsI've found these green dip 5B sticks are my favorite for my electronic drums. The weight, balance, and thickness work great for me, and the rubber has the perfect grippiness without being sticky. These will be my go-to sticks from now on.5Good stick, not for meThe stick itself is good! The only wood tip stick that didnt chip after a gig which is a huge plus! The length is something to be desired too. No one tends to touch a 16.25" length which i was excited about. It's obviously all preference, but the reason I stopped playing this model is because all the weight sits in the back of the stick. There's no forward momentum when you throw to hit the drums. After a 3 hr gig, I found myself forcing the stick for volume and feel, and started to develop symptoms of tennis elbow in the coming days.It wasn't for me, but who knows. Give it a try4Great for electronic kit playersI had been using latex-dipped sticks for a lighter grip as the vibrations from drumming on mesh pads were hurting my hands. These completely eliminated the need for them, and I weaned myself off the dips in a day. The vibration through my hands almost completely disappears with these sticks. Highly recommended for electronic drummers. The only downside is that the logo comes off the stick very easily, with only a few hours of play. Hardly an issue, really, but it's there.5Great for the practice pad. This is just personal preference for a rank amateur using an e-kit. After trying these I still prefer the 5A Anti-vibes for general use on the e-kit, and don't think the heavier, thicker 5B Anti-vibes do anything different, apart from possibly beating up the pads some more. Though they might be more comfortable if you have hands like a blacksmith. However, I have found them very useful on the practice pad, which in turn makes playing the quiet e-kit that much more enjoyable. So it's perhaps worth getting a set of 5As and 5Bs. And with the 5Bs at less than $10, they're at least worth a try. Either way, for me, the Anti-vibes are the way to go on an e-kit; no more wrist pain!5Comfortable, well-made sticks for e-drumsI have played percussion/drums for 36+ years. Recently invested in some Roland digital drums. I found these sticks to be the best for use on the mesh-style heads of this set.Of interest, over the years, I have tried various models of Zildjian drum sticks (Zildjian is a cymbal maker). Historically, I have never been a huge fan of their drumsticks. But in this case - the are well-made, well-balanced, and give great fatigue-free response on my drums.5Good Quality SticksI bought these mistakenly thinking they were nylon infused wood, not just nylon tipped. I had been religiously buying Vic Firth Japanese White Oak sticks because of their durability, but started going through them too. Even though these were an accidental purchase, they hold up really well. I've played several shows and have gone through plenty of practices with my first pair, and all I've got is an unfortunate chip, where the black finish chipped off. No breakage whatsoever though. Weight and texture as expected. Quality sticks, especially for the price. Only fault, in my opinion, is that the black tips do in fact leave black marks on my white coated heads. I expect they would do the same to clear heads. Obviously not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of.4Boom, snick... Boom boom, snick.Got the 5B Anti-Vibes, for electronic drums.Won't completely eliminate vibration, but I doubt any sticks ever will. This is as good as it gets, and they really help. Lightweight. Sometimes I play hard, but not often, so can't comment on any of you kids in the High Stick Club.Wish they made Anti-Vibes that also were dipped in that grip stuff.5Good sticks, BUT BEWAREThis sticks are great, but beware:The paint will fade off the sticks and stain whatever you're hitting, not an extreme amount, but enough if they're brand new so be careful. If you use electronic mesh heads, you'll be fine if you break in the sticks on a practice pad for a couple days. Other than that, it's good.5Great grip. Only minor complaints.I love the amount of grip these drum sticks provide, however I ve had them for only about 2 weeks and they have noticeable dents from rim shots. I like them and think they are worth the money. But if you are anything like me you break drum sticks straight up the middle often, I have not done this with these drum sticks, but maybe look other places if you break or lose your drum sticks often.4I like these drumsticksI like these drumsticks...son likes them as well. The only issue is how fast the black paint is scratching off them. Can't totally blame the sticks as I don't necessarily see how my son treats them but they are definitely rough looking in 5 weeks!4
